Daisy Dodge is a writer, designer, teacher, and traveler. Her work has appeared in Oxford American, StoryQuarterly, and elsewhere. She is currently at work on a contemplative essay collection for adults; she is also seeking literary representation for Spartina Alterniflora, a picture book for children set in the Louisiana wetlands. She is the founder and principal of Union Studios, a design, fabrication, and creative consulting company based in her native New Orleans.

She has taught creative writing and English at several universities and independent schools on the east and west coasts of the U.S. and in New Orleans and Japan; most recently, she has taught design studio at Tulane School of Architecture. She holds a BA in English from the University of Virginia, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama, and a Master of Architecture from Tulane. She lives near Bayou St. John with Colin Keith, her partner in life and work, and a good dog named MK.
